About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Shah Alam. As an Accounts Assistant (AR) at Ace Gases, you will be responsible for the end-to-end accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate billing and the timely collection of payments. You will play a vital role in maintaining the company’s cash flow by monitoring aging reports, managing credit limits, and reconciling customer accounts. This role offers hands-on experience in complex financial operations, including international payment transactions and tax compliance within the dynamic gas manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

Invoicing & Billing: Prepare and issue accurate sales invoices on a timely basis.

Collections & Monitoring: Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on outstanding payments.

Credit Control: Perform credit control functions, including the monitoring of customer credit terms and limits.

Payment Reconciliation: Record incoming payments and perform detailed reconciliations of customer accounts.

International Operations: Manage payment transactions related to India operations, specifically handling Withholding Tax (WHT) matters.

Dispute Resolution: Coordinate with internal departments and customers to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies.

Reporting & Compliance: Maintain proper documentation and support month-end closing activities to ensure compliance with company financial policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in an AR or Finance-related role is preferred; however, high-potential fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
