About the Role
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for managing full-set accounts and Consolidated account, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, supporting audits, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role involves close coordination with internal departments, external auditors, and management to ensure strong financial governance and business performance visibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Handle full-set accounts for the company and assigned overseas subsidiaries.
- Consolidate financial results from overseas entities and prepare group-level reports in accordance with MFRS/IFRS.
- Perform month-end closing activities and ensure timely submission of reports.
- Maintain proper accounting records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Audit & Compliance
- Coordinate with external auditors on annual financial audits.
- Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and resolve audit queries promptly.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Support internal audits or compliance reviews when required.
- Taxation
- Assist in preparation of corporate tax computation and tax estimates.
- Handle SST/GST submissions, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.
- Liaise with tax agents for tax filing matters.
- Financial Analysis & Budgeting
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Perform variance analysis and highlight financial trends, risks, or opportunities.
- Provide insights to management for decision-making.
- Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with operations, procurement, HR, and management to support business activities.
- Handle financial queries and provide accurate financial information to stakeholders.
- Maintain strong working relationships with auditors, tax agents, and banks.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is required.
- Professional degree candidates (completed or part-qualified) are encouraged.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in audit.
- Prior audit experience in a professional firm (e.g., Big 4 or mid-tier) is an added advantage.
- Experience handling full-set accounts and financial reporting.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS).
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, SAP, Oracle, AutoCount or any other ERP) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage timelines and work in a fast-paced environment
